These Terms & Conditions govern your use of services provided through the Imperial Shuttle platform, including car rentals and hotel bookings. By making a reservation through our website or affiliated channels, you agree to abide by the following terms.
Car Rentals: The rental period begins at the confirmed pickup time and ends at the agreed drop-off time. Extension requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Hotel Bookings: Hotel reservations are based on nightly rates and check-in/check-out policies of the individual hotel partner. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may attract a fee.
If you request a designated driver, Imperial Shuttle will assign a professional driver who is licensed and vetted.
The assigned driver must not be replaced or substituted by the renter.
Drivers are held to the same usage policies as the renter during the rental period.
To use our services, users must meet the following:
Be at least 21 years old (car rental customers)
Present a valid Driver’s License and Ghana Card or Passport
International renters must provide an International Driver’s Permit or DVLA-recognized temporary license
For hotel stays, valid identification is required at check-in
Cars and hotel rooms must be used only for lawful purposes and as agreed during booking.
Sub-renting, transferring, or using vehicles or rooms for illegal or harmful activities is strictly prohibited.
For car rentals, all traffic fines, fuel costs, and tolls during the rental period are the renter’s responsibility.
All fees are payable in advance or at pickup via accepted payment methods (Mobile Money, Card, Bank Transfer).
A security deposit may be required for car rentals and is refundable upon safe return of the vehicle.
Extra fees may apply for:
Late return of vehicles or rooms
Excess mileage
Damage, excessive dirt, or violations of usage policies
Car pickup and drop-off will be at the location selected during booking. Changes must be communicated at least 3 hours in advance.
Hotel check-in/check-out times follow the policy of the hosting property and must be observed.
The renter is fully responsible for the vehicle during the rental period, including theft, damage, or loss unless otherwise covered by insurance.
Any accident, damage, or loss must be reported immediately to Imperial Shuttle and relevant authorities.
Hotel partners reserve the right to charge for damages or loss caused during the guest’s stay.
In case of a car accident, contact emergency services, and report the incident to us via our 24/7 emergency line.
Our support team will assist in coordinating roadside help or lodging changes if required.
The following are strictly prohibited during rentals or hotel stays:
Drunk driving or use of illegal substances
Unauthorized vehicle use (e.g., racing, towing, smuggling)
Hosting events in hotel rooms without permission
Use of cars or hotels for fraudulent purposes
All cars listed must be comprehensively insured, especially for rental use.
Hotel listings must comply with safety and hospitality regulations.
Imperial Shuttle reserves the right to request additional verification or pause bookings for security checks.
Car Rentals: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before scheduled pickup may be eligible for a refund.
Hotel Bookings: Each hotel partner has a unique cancellation policy, displayed at the time of booking.
Imperial Shuttle reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if:
Terms are violated
Illegal activities are reported
Unsafe driving or guest conduct is observed
Misuse or fraud is detected
